Lori Drew, is she a cyberbully or a victim?
Since there is a lot of bullying going on I thought it would be rather interesting to hear what some of you thought about Lori Drew.
Personally I think she is a horrible and childish person.

i think that she is , as you said very childish and also needs to think before she goes and terrorizes some 13 year old because they are very emotionally unstable
I think she lacked common logic, was not a good rolemodel for her daughter, and was part in something tragic. I don’t think that she should be blamed for a troubled youths suicide. I think that 13 year old girl had trouble from all sorts of facets of her life, and needed help. Unfortunately, what set her off was something that Lori Drews daughter did. I don’t ever believe that anyone is ever responsible for someone taking their own life (they are a part of it) they can either help or worsen the situation.
I think she’s very evil and pathetic, and I believe in karma. It touches close to home as I have a brother that committed suicide, partly due to bullying.
It’s hard enough on young girls to deal with the day to day bullying from their peers. They can’t stand up to harassment from vindictive adult. Drew was not only horrible and childish, in my opinion she was about as close to a murderer as a person can get without actually killing someone. The women should have been prosecuted a lot harsher than she was.
I not only feel for Megan’s family, I feel for Drew’s daughter as well. She helped her mother do this, because she didn’t know any better. That’s just the kind of mother Drew was. She taught her daughter that this was OK, and now her daughter’s the one that has to live with it.
I think she is a horrible human being, however she didn’t actually do anything that was illegal. I think that is the sadist part of this whole thing she was aquided because she was a bully and not a criminal. I think that this poor girl, Megan may have gotten help if she was not pushed over the edge like that. Therefore, in my eyes Lori is a killer and the worse kind too.
Not a victim by a long shot. Despite the prosecutors apparent use of an inappropriate law against her, she couldn’t possibly be considered a victim.
Neither. Not a victim by a LONG shot. Not a cyberbully, because the description is too weak. She’s a con artist guilty of manslaughter, at the very least.
A grown woman pretended to be a boy, then worked “his” way into this girl’s affections, with ONLY the cruelest intentions in mind. An angry adult bent on hurting a 13 year old girl. The “boy” finished up by suggesting that the world would be better off without Megan.
Megan killed herself. The girl is dead. Should we shout ollie ollie oxen free and let it go?
It should not matter that Megan had a history of problems. If an adult punches a child and the kid dies, should the killer be let off because the kid had Brittle Bone Disease?
The judge is a fool.
Civil suit.
